What Foray Tabletop is
It introduces tabletop players to each other, shows which shops have tables free, and lets players list items to buy and sell locally.
That is all it is. We are not a party to the games you arrange, the bookings you make with a shop, or the trades you agree with another player. We do not handle the money in a trade, hold anything in escrow, inspect what is sold, or deliver it.
The service is provided as it is. We try to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise it will always be available, or that what other people write on it is true.
Your account
You must be 18 or over. The app arranges meetings and trades in person, which is why the rule exists and why we enforce it.
One account per person. Give accurate information, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if someone else gets into your account.
You are responsible for what happens under your account.
If we remove an account for breaking these terms, making another one to get around that is also a breach.
How to behave
Our community guidelines are part of these terms and describe what is and is not acceptable in detail.
In short: do not harass, threaten or abuse anyone, do not lie about who you are, do not post anything illegal, do not use the app to reach anyone under 18, do not scrape it or automate access to it, and do not try to break the parts that keep other people safe.
We can remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where the breach involves a child, the account is removed permanently and we keep the evidence the law requires us to keep.
What you post
What you write and upload stays yours. You give us permission to store it and to show it to the people the app is meant to show it to, which is what makes posts, listings and messages work.
Do not post anything you do not have the right to post.
We can remove anything that breaks these terms or the guidelines, and we can decline to carry a listing without giving a reason.
Matches, results and bookings
A match is an arrangement between two players. Turn up, or cancel early enough for the other person to make other plans.
Results are reported by the players. Each player reports once and cannot change it, neither sees what the other said until the match resolves, and a match nobody reports within 72 hours stays undecided. Either player can mark a game casual, which keeps it off both records.
A table can only be booked against an accepted match, and the shop decides whether to confirm it. The shop's own prices, rules and cancellation policy apply to the table, not ours. If a shop charges for a table it is shown before you book.
Repeatedly failing to turn up affects your record and can lead to suspension.
The marketplace
Listings are between players. We do not take payment, hold funds, verify items, or ship anything.
Pay in person, after you have seen what you are buying. Anyone who asks for money before you meet is breaking our rules and should be reported.
Do not list counterfeit, stolen or illegal items, and do not list anything you cannot legally sell where you live.
A listing stays up for 30 days unless you remove it sooner.
Any dispute about an item is between the buyer and the seller. We can act on the accounts involved, but we cannot refund you, because we never held the money.
Posting and credits
Nothing is for sale in Foray Tabletop today. Posting a marketplace listing is free, there is no in-app purchase and no subscription, and we take no payment from players at all.
Every account holds a small number of posting credits. While posting is free none of them are spent; they are there for the day it is charged for.
If we ever charge for posting we will say so in the app before it takes effect. Purchases would be made through Apple's or Google's store, under their terms and their refund rules, and we would not process the payment ourselves.
Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, are not refundable by us, and are lost if you delete your account.
If you list a shop
Only list a business you are authorised to represent.
Keep your opening hours, tables and fees accurate, because players plan around them, and honour the bookings you confirm.
We verify shops before they appear on the map and can withdraw that verification if what is listed stops matching the shop.
Nothing in these terms makes us your agent, and we do not take a share of what a player pays you.
Suspension and ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, or by asking us. Our deletion page explains exactly what is removed and what remains.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the guidelines. Where it is safe and sensible to do so we will tell you why, and support can be reached from inside the app while a suspension is in effect.
If we close the service we will give reasonable notice and a way to get your information out.
Liability
We are responsible for our own service working as described. We are not responsible for what other people do: what they write, whether they turn up, whether an item is as described, or what happens when you meet them.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Law and changes
These terms are governed by the law of Thailand, and the courts of Thailand have jurisdiction, except where the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim closer to home.
If we change these terms we will publish the new version here and tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Foray Tabletop after that means accepting the new version.
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
Write to hello@foray.games with any question about them.
