Delete your account

Delete it in the app

Open Foray Tabletop, go to the Profile tab, tap the settings icon at the top right, then Delete account, and confirm with Delete.

That is the whole process. The account goes at the moment you confirm, you are signed out on every device, and nothing waits for our approval.

If you have a table booked, deleting your account does not cancel it. Tell the store and the other player first.

Unused post credits go with the account. They are not refunded and cannot be moved to another one.

Ask us to delete it

If you cannot open the app, because you have changed phone or your sign-in no longer works, write to hello@foray.games with the subject "Delete my account", from the email address the account uses.

Tell us the display name you played under so we can find the right account. You do not have to give a reason, and we will confirm with you before anything is deleted.

Writing from a different address is fine, but we will ask you for something only the account holder would know. We will not delete an account on a request we cannot verify.

You need neither the app nor a working sign-in to make this request.

What is deleted

The moment the deletion goes through, all of this is gone from our database:

• Your email address and your password
• Your display name, profile photo, bio, city and area
• The days and times you had marked yourself free to play
• Every signed-in session and push notification token, on every device
• Your looking-for-game posts, which are cancelled
• Your marketplace listings, which are taken down
• Any match request still waiting for an answer, which is closed

What we keep, and why

A deletion cannot rewrite other people's records, and four things survive it. None of them carries your name, your address or your photo:

• Matches you played stay on your former opponents' records, where your name reads "Deleted player". Their own history and their win and loss counts have to keep making sense.
• Messages you sent stay in the chats you sent them to, with no name attached. The other person's copy of a conversation is theirs.
• Reports involving your account are kept, so that deleting an account is not a way to shed a ban or a safety record.
• A note that the account existed and the date it was deleted. It is what keeps the account from being signed into or reused.

How long it takes

Deleting in the app is immediate. There is no waiting period, no grace period and no step in between.

A request by email is done within 30 days of us confirming the account is yours, and normally within a few days.

We keep operational backups for no more than 30 days, and a deleted account is never restored from one.

What remains is the short list above. We do not keep it for marketing, we do not sell it, and the app carries no advertising or analytics service that could have received it.
